PID and TOP-Dawg at Southside River Walk
Last week, we finally decided to rent a few bikes and ride around the city. It was by far my favorite day of the summer. Sunshine and the wind in our hair as we took in the the city from a new angle was such a great way to spend the day. But after a few hours of riding we found ourselves dying for a yummy meal. So after returning our bikes, we headed across Carson Street to Le Brew House.
Golden Triangle Bike Rental, $8/hour or $30/day
The place is very charming. It's got a dive-bar feel (that's a compliment in my eyes) without the dive-bar look. Outdoor seating, a spacious bar and a really adorable dining area (complete with fairy lights and a stage which often boasts live bands) come together to create a very comforting atmosphere. Not 5 minutes after sitting down, I was already telling PID I wanted to return.
The feeling continued after we received our fried zucchini appetizer. There was lots of flavor packed into these little puppies!
Fried Zucchini, $7.99
PID went with the Mika Brew Burger to fill his belly with carbs and protein after a long bike ride. The Mike Burger makes eating breakfast for dinner cool again by smothering a deliciously cooked, half-pound, hand-formed burger with a fried egg and bacon (not to mention the provolone cheese). This burger sang to PID from the menu and continued to be music to his ears, bite after bite.
Mika Brew Burger, $9.49
Roast Beef Sandwich, $8.99
I opted for a raspberry margarita, but was unable to get a frozen version. Still hit the spot on a hot day!

We loved the atmosphere and the yummy bar food totally hit the spot. This is the perfect place to stop for happy hour, grab a sandwich or catch some live music. It's not too crowded that you can't enjoy yourself, either. When reviewing our menu, we quickly planned our next trip - during Brunch. PID and I are constantly looking for new, unique places to have Sunday brunch. Le Brew House offers breakfast 6 days/week and promises delicious Bloody Mary's. I'm quite excited to come back and check them out!
